A little embarassed by what the straights think? Why don't you ask why straight people don't "integrate" gayborhoods? Why is it always up to gay people to "de-segregate" themselves? What about the large number of people in these neighborhoods who are fleeing those "mainstream" towns and neighborhoods because they were miserable and tormented there? Maybe you ought to look at what makes people CHOOSE to live there and attack that--(P.S. It's more than getting laid). And a true ghetto--you might want to brush up on history--is when the state forces people to live in an enclosed separate place, definitely not the case here. A little self-loathing, no?
